'On our arrival back to the UK, Tom and I were amazed at the resurgence of independent shops in the UK.
After leaving in 2013 where the big chains and multinational corporations ruled the high street, it was refreshing to come back to see a little more personality and individuality in British towns and cities.
The list below is some of our favourite shops and homeware brands in the UK, many of which I found through their strong social media presence while others just good old fashioned word of mouth.
