5 Star Reviews:
“One of the best books I’ve come across lately. It is easy and enjoyable to read, with some great insights from the author and his sense of humour. You can dive into the full chapters or read it on the go in small bits. The book provides a great perspective on how being “stuck in the middle” is actually a really happy place to be. There are amazing stories and quotes mentioned in the book that have really stuck with me, which I now keep coming back to on a daily basis. Really really recommend”
“A great read with a lovely balance of author insights and quotes. As I turned 50 this year I really needed to hear the positive vibes about middle age… It’s left me feeling much more positive about my position in the middle!”
“This book is a wonderful re-assessment of the middle as a place of importance rather than a site of mediocrity, neglect and stagnation. In its celebration of equality and inclusivity, Hempsall's vision of the middle is inspired and inspiring. Written in easily-digestible chunks with a series of engaging quizzes, quotations and infographics, the book is highly readable and often funny. Great design and references to film and children's literature alongside personal anecdotes make it supremely accessible. The book touches on some important contemporary issues (e.g. cancel culture), making it socially relevant as well as a practical guide to enhanced health and wellbeing.”
