Linocut Christmas Card Workshop with Theo Miller - Sunday 1 November 10am-1pm

Get creative this Christmas and make your own set of unique, handmade Christmas cards at Harriman & Co.

Join artist and experienced printmaker Theo Miller for a relaxed, hands-on morning learning the art of linocut printing. You’ll create a single festive design, carve it into a square piece of lino and use it to print your own set of Christmas cards.

Theo will guide you through each stage, from developing your design and learning how to carve the lino to inking and printing your finished cards. You’ll leave with a set of beautiful, individually printed Christmas cards, along with your own lino block to keep and use again at home.

Whether you’re completely new to printmaking or looking to revisit an old favourite, this workshop is suitable for all abilities.

About Theo

Theo Miller is an artist specialising in relief printing, with over 10 years’ experience teaching printmaking to people of all ages and abilities. A graduate of De Montfort University, he has exhibited widely and has worked as a printmaking technical instructor at De Montfort University since 2016. He also founded Printmaking Services in 2022, helping printmakers maintain and restore their presses.

What to expect

All tools and materials are provided. Just bring yourself and some ideas for your Christmas design. Drawings and inspiration are always welcome.
